MyCiber platform registration deadline approaches for Portuguese entities

Entities covered by the Cybersecurity Legal Regime (RJC) in Portugal have until September 15, 2026, to complete their registration and self-identification via the MyCiber platform. This deadline applies to entities that were already active before the RJC entered into force.

Failure to comply with the registration and self-identification duties outlined in Decree-Law no. 125/2025 constitutes a serious administrative offense. Such infractions are punishable by fines. The National Cybersecurity Center (CNCS) is providing support to help entities adapt to the new legal framework and clarify obligations related to cybersecurity requirements and service continuity.
