MyDefence unveils AI-powered Wingman Edge drone detector

MyDefence has introduced Wingman Edge, a new generation of personal drone detectors designed to provide soldiers with tactical advantages through artificial intelligence. The device performs advanced radio spectrum analysis to identify signals that may not yet be recorded in existing threat libraries, allowing it to adapt to evolving drone technologies.

Weighing less than one kilogram, the device is 17% lighter than previous versions. It operates entirely passively, meaning it does not emit radio waves while monitoring the electromagnetic environment, allowing users to maintain radio invisibility. The system processes signals directly on the device to provide real-time recognition.

In the last 18 months, the United States Army has purchased MyDefence drone detection devices totaling $77 million.
