Myha'la addresses unconscious bias claims after Celebrity Traitors exit

Actor Myha'la has addressed allegations of unconscious racial and cultural bias following her banishment from the reality series ‘The Celebrity Traitors’. After being voted out at the Roundtable, fans and critics suggested her exit was linked to racial bias, noting that two of the six people of color in the cast were among the first to leave.

While Myha'la acknowledged that “unconscious racial and cultural bias exists in this game” and noted that her authenticity might appear suspicious to those unfamiliar with her background, she defended her fellow cast members. She stated that she does not believe her co-stars consciously acted out of bias.

Myha'la maintained that she “sealed [her] own fate,” citing specific gameplay actions such as winking at a known Traitor, Richard E. Grant, and expressing her thoughts and feelings too openly early in the competition.
