Mykhailo Fedorov launches defense tech firm with Palantir CEO Alex Karp

Mykhailo Fedorov, the former Ukrainian Defense Minister, has announced the launch of a new defense technology company. Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, has been named as the primary lead investor in the venture.

The new firm aims to leverage combat experiences gained during the war in Ukraine to develop advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, robotics, and low-cost interceptor drones. Fedorov intends to translate battlefield insights into scalable products designed to strengthen Ukraine and its international allies.

In addition to the tech company, Fedorov is developing a broader ecosystem that includes a dedicated defense investment fund and a think tank. This strategic move follows his dismissal from the Ukrainian government in July, an event that triggered significant domestic protests. The partnership with Karp, which reportedly spans five years, positions the new entity at the intersection of data integration and modern military operational planning.
