Mykhailo Fedorov launches defense tech firm with Palantir backing

Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has announced the launch of a new defense technology company. The venture will be primarily backed by Alex Karp, the CEO of Palantir Technologies.

Fedorov, who was dismissed from his ministerial post in July, has remained active in both political and business spheres. He recently began serving as an advisor to Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetta, focusing on military innovation and the development of modern warfare technologies.

The new company aims to leverage Fedorov’s experience in digital transformation and modern warfare to develop defense technologies intended to strengthen Ukraine and contribute to global security. Karp, who noted a half-decade professional relationship with Fedorov, stated that the company is expected to be “groundbreaking for the world.”
