Myles Garrett moves from Browns to Rams in blockbuster NFL trade
Seven‑time All‑Pro defensive end Myles Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, was traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams on June 1. The Rams gave up pass‑rusher Jared Burse along with a 2027 first‑round pick, a 2028 second‑round pick and a 2029 third‑round pick.
The deal follows weeks of speculation and roster maneuvering, including the Rams' earlier, unsuccessful push to acquire wide receiver A.J. Brown. The trade gives the Rams a top‑tier edge‑rusher to bolster a defense already positioned for a Super Bowl run, while the Browns acquire assets to reshape their future roster.
