Myles Garrett named No. 1 on NFL Top 100 Players list
Myles Garrett has been voted the number one player on the NFL Top 100 Players list for 2026. The Los Angeles Rams defensive end secured the top spot, edging out Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson, and Rams teammate Matthew Stafford.
Garrett becomes only the third defensive player in 16 years to receive the top ranking, following J.J. Watt in 2015 and Aaron Donald in 2019. His selection follows a historic season with the Cleveland Browns, during which he set a new NFL single-season record with 23.0 sacks and earned his second AP Defensive Player of the Year award.
As Garrett transitions to the Rams, analysts are examining his history of Defensive Player of the Year winners who changed teams. Previous players such as Deion Sanders and Dana Stubblefield moved to new franchises following their award wins, with Sanders notably winning a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys after his standout season with the San Francisco 49ers.
