Myles Murphy begins stand-up comedy career

Myles Murphy, the 33-year-old son of comedian Eddie Murphy, has begun a career in stand-up comedy. Murphy recently made a surprise appearance at New York City’s West Side Comedy Club, following a period of performing quietly in Los Angeles.

In addition to his New York set, the screenwriter is scheduled to appear at the Laugh Factory Spotlight Special showcase. Following his performance, comedian Jeffrey Gurian shared anecdotes regarding Eddie Murphy’s early career and his rise to prominence on Saturday Night Live.
