Mylliem and Shillong Lajong draw 3-3 in SPL thriller

Mylliem secured their first point of the Shillong Premier League 2026 season by holding title contenders Shillong Lajong to a 3-3 draw at the SSA Stadium.

Shillong Lajong opened the scoring in the 7th minute through an Iohborlang L Lyngkhoi free-kick. Mylliem responded in the 25th minute with a header from Wanpynshngain Nongsteng, ending Lajong’s 300-minute streak without conceding. After a scoreless period where Lajong had a goal ruled out for offside, Mylliem took the lead in the 52nd minute via a left-footed strike from Shaibor Nongrum.

Lajong equalized in the 65th minute with a header from Lalmuansanga. Mylliem regained the lead in the 70th minute when Istarbor Marngar scored from a long-range effort, but Lajong managed to find a final equalizer in the 76th minute through Deibormame Tongper to split the points.
