Myna Wallet integrates JPYC EX for seamless stablecoin transactions

Myna Wallet has launched a new integration with JPYC EX, allowing users to issue and redeem the Japanese yen-pegged stablecoin, JPYC, directly within the Myna Wallet app. This feature utilizes the JPYC EX integration API to create a seamless experience for digital asset management.

By integrating these services, users can complete the entire process from on-ramping (issuance) to off-ramping (redemption) without leaving the app. This eliminates the previous requirement to log in to separate services and manually transfer funds, which acted as a barrier for new stablecoin users. The wallet utilizes passkey authentication to remove the need for managing seed phrases or private keys, and employs smart account technology (ERC-4337) to cover gas fees during JPYC redemption.

Myna Wallet uses the My Number Card for identity verification, providing a secure non-custodial environment for managing stablecoins, crypto assets, and NFTs. The company plans to expand use cases for JPYC, including retail payments and local government services.
