MYNT girl group wins award three months after formation

The Hong Kong girl group MYNT has won the ‘Most Shining Rising Female Group’ award at the ACE FACE OF HONG KONG STAR AWARDS 2026, just three months after their formation.

During the ceremony, the six members—Sabrina, Chelsea, Ellyn, Carmen, Skylar, and Hilary—appeared in black, gold, and silver evening wear. Member Chelsea also received the ‘Most Shining TV Newcomer’ award.

In interviews following the win, members expressed surprise at the rapid recognition. Captain Sabrina noted that the award provides motivation to improve their stage performances, while Carmen shared the challenges of filming their new music video, ‘Turn My Magic On,’ due to a director’s instruction to refrain from smiling while performing.
