Myrtle Beach hosts various autumn traditions and festivals

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, offers various autumn traditions and seasonal events throughout the Grand Strand area.

On October 17, the 47th annual Loris Bog-Off Festival will take place in downtown Loris, celebrating the regional chicken bog dish with a cooking contest, live entertainment, and fireworks. That same morning, North Myrtle Beach will host the fifth annual Witches Sunrise Surf, featuring costumed surfers.

Additionally, the nearby historic river town of Conway serves as the ‘City of Halloween’ throughout October, featuring themed decorations such as jack-o'-lantern trees and immersive lighting in its downtown area.
