Myrto Xanthopoulou presents ‘Eternal Fan’ exhibition at MOMus Athens

Artist Myrto Xanthopoulou, winner of the Art Athina 2025 New Artist Award, is presenting her solo exhibition, ‘Eternal Fan’ (αιώνιος ανεμιστήρας), at the MOMus - Alex Milonas Museum in Athens. The exhibition runs from September 10 to October 25, 2026.

Her work integrates language, everyday waste, and various materials such as construction supplies, paper, and single-use objects collected from urban and domestic environments. Xanthopoulou utilizes linguistic elements, including improvised poems and wordplay, as primary creative components. The exhibition features medium and large-scale installations and constructions that emphasize fragility and instability. The show is curated by art historian Giannis Bolis and is held in collaboration with the Panhellenic Association of Art Galleries.
