Mysia Festival debuts in Gölyazı with musical biography

The inaugural Mysia Festival has commenced in Gölyazı, aiming to integrate music, culture, and nature along the Mysia routes. The opening event featured ‘Amalia’, a solo musical biographical play centered on the life of Fado singer Amalia Rodrigues, performed at the Gölyazı Cultural Center (Gölyazı Panteleimon Church).

The production was written by Gülşen Karakadıoğlu, directed by Özlem Dilan Atakul, and performed by Bestem Yuvarlak Çatık, with music by Onur Kahvecioğlu. The festival is a collaborative effort between Nilüfer Municipality, Nilüfer City Council, Mysia Yolları, and Müzikist.

Following the events in Gölyazı, the festival will continue in the Üçpınar and Fadıllı neighborhoods, concluding on Sunday evening. All festival activities are free of charge, though certain workshops require prior registration via digital channels due to limited capacity.
