Myst and Morrowind receive modern revivals on new platforms

The classic 1993 adventure game Myst has been re-released for PlayStation 5 and PC in a new version built with Unreal Engine, offering players free‑movement 3D exploration and updated puzzles while retaining the original challenge.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is now playable directly in web browsers via the OpenMW‑Web project, which runs the game using the community‑maintained OpenMW engine. A public demo is available, though full play requires the legally owned PC version of Morrowind. The browser port also supports user mods and demonstrates a way to run the game without traditional installation.

Both releases bring beloved 1990s adventure titles to contemporary hardware and distribution methods, expanding access for new and returning players.
