Mythri Movie Makers denies ticket price hikes for Ranabaali

Reports regarding potential ticket price increases for major film releases in Andhra Pradesh have sparked debate within the Telugu film industry. While some reports suggested that upcoming films such as Jailer 2, Aadarsha Kutumbam AK-47, and Ranabaali might see a Rs. 50 hike, Mythri Movie Makers has officially denied these claims.

In a statement released on X, the production house clarified that they have not applied for any ticket price hikes in either of the Telugu states for the period action drama Ranabaali. They confirmed the film, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, will be released at standard ticket prices on October 16.

The controversy highlights ongoing tensions in Andhra Pradesh, where the government tightly controls theatrical pricing and producers must seek approval for increases to recoup production and distribution costs.
