Mytikas hosts successful second annual 3on3 basketball tournament

The second annual 3on3 basketball tournament was held in Mytikas on August 10 and 11 at the Lyceum of Mytikas basketball court. The event featured 18 participating teams and included ranking matches, knockout stages, and a three-point contest.

The team ‘Fthina Tsigara’ won the tournament after defeating ‘Skakistes’ with a final score of 19-14. Dimitris Douroukis from Fthina Tsigara was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP), while Gerasimos Hantzaras from the ‘Achastous’ team won the three-point competition.

Local officials, including Xeromeri Deputy Mayor Vasilis Polyzos and Mytikas Community President Dimitris Pharros, presented the trophies. Organizers expressed gratitude to the volunteers, referees, and sponsors for the successful establishment of this new sporting tradition.
