All Parents and Guardians Associations within the Municipality of Mytilene are required to conduct elections by December 31, 2026. According to the Parents and Guardians Association of Mytilene, current legislation mandates that these elections occur every two years during the period from September 1 to December 31 of even-numbered years.

Maintaining a unified electoral cycle is essential to ensure the smooth and legal representation of parents within association boards and higher-level organizations, such as unions and federations.

Associations that held elections in 2025 are specifically advised to review their procedures and hold new elections within 2026 to align with the legally prescribed biennial cycle. Following the elections, associations must electronically submit the necessary forms and results to the Association of Parents and Guardians of the Municipality of Mytilene.
