Mzinga Corporation launches gravel factory project in Monduli

Tanzania's Minister of Defence and National Service, Dr. Rhimo Nyansaho, has inaugurated a new gravel production factory project in Nanja, Monduli District, within the Arusha Region. The project is being implemented by Mzinga Corporation, an entity owned by the Tanzania People's Defence Force (TPDF).

The initiative aims to expand the corporation's economic activities and contribute to national development in alignment with the government's Vision 2050. By producing gravel, the project is expected to increase the availability of essential raw materials for the construction sector, stimulate infrastructure development, create employment opportunities, and boost government revenue.

Minister Nyansaho emphasized that the investment is a strategic move to enhance production capabilities and diversify income sources for the military and the nation. He urged defense sector institutions to prioritize strategic investments and innovation to foster financial self-reliance and economic productivity.
