MZT Skopje Aerodrom wins Supercup against KK Kumanovo

MZT Skopje Aerodrom won the ‘Dragan Vasilov – Cevka’ Supercup after defeating KK Kumanovo with a score of 70:68. The final match, held in Kumanovo, was a closely contested game where the visitors maintained control in the final quarter, leading 64:51 before Kumanovo mounted a late comeback to close the gap to just two points.

Noah Farahhan led MZT Skopje with 20 points, while Vojdan Stojanovski contributed 16 points. This victory marks the ninth Supercup title for the Skopje-based club. For Kumanovo, the match held additional significance as the city celebrates 80 years of basketball history. Coach Marin Dokuzovski noted that while the team is still building form after twenty days of preparation, the match serves as a vital test before the start of the new season.

The two teams are scheduled to face each other again on October 2 in the domestic Super League at the ‘Jane Sandanski’ sports center in Skopje.
