Na Homolce Hospital to decommission vehicle after collision with MP Filip Turek

Na Homolce Hospital has announced that the Škoda Fabia used for transporting blood and biological materials will be decommissioned following a collision with a Mercedes-Benz G-Class driven by MP Filip Turek. The accident occurred on July 13, 2026, at an intersection near I. P. Pavlova Square in Prague. The hospital vehicle, which was traveling with emergency lights and sirens active, overturned multiple times after the impact.

Hospital spokesperson Martina Dostálová stated that the damage is estimated in the tens of thousands of crowns, but repairing the vehicle is considered unprofitable due to its age and high mileage. While the police investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing, the driver of the hospital vehicle sustained several injuries, including a moderate head injury.
