Nabiganj celebrates Janmashtami with colorful procession

Nabiganj celebrated Janmashtami with a colorful procession and various religious rituals on Friday morning, September 4. The festivities commenced at 9:00 AM from the Nabiganj Central Govinda Jiu Akhra premises.

The procession traveled through the main roads of the city before returning to the Akhra to conclude. The event was organized by the Janmashtami Celebration Council and saw participation from numerous organizations, including the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad, ISKCON, and the Ramakrishna Sangha, among others.

The celebration included various community leaders and representatives from several Hindu-Buddhist-Christian unity fronts and local social service organizations.
