NACCIMA leaders meet to discuss economic growth as Jani Ibrahim elected FEWACCI president

The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) recently held its 3rd Quarter Council Meeting in Nsukka, Enugu State. The assembly focused on strengthening public-private partnerships to drive Nigeria’s economic transformation. Key discussions addressed trade, investment, MSME development, infrastructure, energy, and digital transformation. During the meeting, Enugu State Deputy Governor Ifeanyi Ossai emphasized the importance of reducing bureaucratic bottlenecks to foster an environment conducive to investment and innovation.

In a separate development, NACCIMA National President Jani Ibrahim has been elected President of the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI). Following a contested election in Abuja, Ibrahim is expected to lead efforts in promoting intra-West African trade and regional economic integration. His leadership aims to align regional commerce with the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to position West Africa as a hub for investment.
