NACHC partners with Abbott and Labcorp to enhance community healthcare

The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) has entered into strategic partnerships with Abbott Laboratories and Labcorp to enhance clinical capabilities and nutrition services across the United States primary care network.

Through a multi-year initiative with Abbott Laboratories titled ‘Food for Health’, the program aims to integrate nutrition services into primary healthcare delivery. The partnership will provide training, peer support, and certification tools to help health centers manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease through improved nutrition.

Simultaneously, a collaboration with Labcorp will focus on leadership development and data utilization. This includes the ‘NACHC Leadership Exchange for Chief Medical Officers’, an executive mentorship program, and the use of de-identified laboratory data to track disease prevalence and identify gaps in care. These efforts target the 1,526 health centers that serve approximately 52.3 million Americans.
