Nacho Panzariello leaves Amazonas FC for 2027 season

Uruguayan midfielder Nacho Panzariello has rescinded his contract with Amazonas FC and will not remain with the club for the 2027 season. The 36-year-old player, who joined the team at the start of 2026, saw increased playing time during the final stages of the Brazilian Série C, appearing in 13 matches and providing one assist.

Panzariello’s departure occurs as Amazonas FC undergoes squad restructuring following a 13th-place finish in Série C. The club has also confirmed the departure of Rafael Tavares, who is joining Brasiliense-DF, while working to finalize new signings and player retentions for the 2027 campaign, which includes the Campeonato Amazonense, Copa Norte, Copa do Brasil, and Série C.
