Nacional-AM and CSA face off in Série D playoff for Série C access

Nacional-AM and CSA face each other in a decisive playoff match for access to the 2027 Série C. The first leg of the matchup will take place on Thursday, August 27, at the Arena da Amazônia in Manaus.

Nacional-AM coach Thiago Gomes stated that his starting lineup is already defined. He emphasized that the team has focused heavily on offensive preparation to replicate the performance that led them to the Amazonian Championship earlier this season. Because the playoff does not include a penalty shootout, a draw in the aggregate score would allow CSA to advance due to their superior overall campaign.

The second leg is scheduled for September 3 at the Rei Pelé stadium in Maceió. The match will be broadcast live on the Metrópoles Esportes YouTube channel.
