Nacional defeated Peñarol 1-0 in the Uruguayan Clásico at the Estadio Campeón del Siglo during the fourth round of the Torneo Clausura. The decisive goal was scored in the 24th minute by Costa Rican defender Francisco Calvo, who used a backheel technique to find the net following a corner kick from Gastón Martirena.

This victory marks Nacional's first official win at Peñarol's stadium and strengthens their position in the Anual tournament.
