Nacional Handebol defeats Osasco to advance in National League

Nacional Handebol secured a 33-22 victory against Osasco at the Centro Multiuso in São José during the classification phase of the South-Southeast Conference of the Men's National Handball League. Having already guaranteed qualification for the next stage, the team used the match to refine its performance.

Coach Francisco Monteiro Neto, known as Chico, noted that while the start of the game was difficult, the team successfully implemented its planned rhythm in the final ten minutes to secure a significant lead. He emphasized the challenges and progress of working with a young roster.

Nacional Handebol will conclude its classification phase against Itajaí on Saturday, the 15th. The semifinals are scheduled to take place in São José between September 12 and 17, where the team aims to reach the Final Four. This season also follows the team's recent achievement as runners-up in the South-Central tournament.
