Nacon announces Revolution 5 Unlimited controller for PS5 and PC

Nacon has announced the Revolution 5 Unlimited (R5U), a high-end asymmetric controller officially licensed for PlayStation 5 and PC. The device features a built-in control screen that allows players to adjust audio balance, stick sensitivity, and shortcut assignments in real-time without navigating console menus.

A key technical highlight is the introduction of Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) analog sticks, which aim to provide higher precision, improved reliability, and reduced power consumption compared to traditional solutions. The controller is designed for competitive gaming, offering instant triggers that can switch between analog travel and micro-switch clicks, as well as a ‘Shooter Pro Mode’ to eliminate joystick dead zones.

The R5U is priced at approximately $229.99 (£179.99; €199.99) and includes a dedicated charging dock, a carrying case, and various customization accessories. This launch comes as Nacon undergoes restructuring following a recent insolvency filing.
