Nacon unveils Revolution 5 Unlimited PS5 controller with built-in screen

Nacon has unveiled the Revolution 5 Unlimited, an officially licensed high-end controller for PlayStation 5 and PC. The device features a built-in monochrome display, making it the first licensed PS5 controller to include an integrated screen for on-the-fly adjustments.

Through the onboard display, players can modify joystick sensitivity, remap buttons and shortcuts, switch between saved profiles, and manage audio levels between game sound and voice chat. To accommodate the screen, the controller removes the DualSense touch field, though inputs can be reassigned to other buttons.

Technical improvements include the implementation of Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology for the joysticks. These magnetic sticks are designed to increase precision and reliability while reducing wear and tear compared to traditional components. Additional features include micro-switch action buttons, trigger blockers for instant-trigger technology, and a companion app for fine-tuning settings via mobile devices.
