Nada Abou Farhat stars in Beirut theatrical production “Dunia”

The theatrical production “Dunia,” written and directed by Ziad Najjar, is currently performing at Théâtre Tournesol in Beirut. Starring Nada Abou Farhat, the play explores themes of motherhood, identity, and the tension between personal desire and social duty.

Abou Farhat portrays a woman undergoing an inward reckoning, examining the person she intended to become versus the roles she has inhabited for others. The production features a live piano score performed by Najjar. Following its run at Théâtre Tournesol until 27 September, the play is scheduled to transfer to Théâtre Athénée in Jounieh and later to Al Madina Theatre in Beirut.
