NADA Auto Show 2026 opens in Kathmandu
The 18th NADA Auto Show 2026 has officially opened at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu, Nepal. Organized by the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, the event features 53 vehicle brands and over 200 stalls across approximately 300,000 square feet.
A major highlight is the debut of the Yatri P2, Nepal’s first locally manufactured electric scooter, produced by Sypradi Yatri Pvt. Ltd. Other notable automotive developments include the launch of the New Suzuki Brezza, which features a Turbo Boosterjet engine and a 6-speed manual transmission.
Industry leaders emphasized the economic importance of the sector, noting it supports over 1 million jobs and generates more than 90 billion in annual revenue. Additionally, Toyota Nepal has launched the ‘Toyota Bijaya Utsav’ campaign, offering festive discounts for the Dashain season.
