Nadeem Rustombi wins 2026 Superstars Sportscar Series title

Nadeem Rustombi, a 19-year-old driver from Palembang, has secured the 2026 Superstars Sportscar Series (SSS) overall championship title with Rocket Racing Bali. The championship was decided during the Mandalika Festival of Speed (MFOS) final round held from October 16–18, 2026, at the Mandalika International Circuit in West Nusa Tenggara.

Driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, Rustombi competed in two races during the final round. In the first race, he started from sixth position and finished fifth, a result that helped maintain his standing in the overall championship race. Despite slippery track conditions, he followed team instructions to maintain pace and avoid accidents.

In the second race, Rustombi aimed for a more aggressive approach. Despite experiencing a crash during the race, he managed to finish first in the GT3 Cup class. Following this victory, Rustombi expressed his intention to pursue racing competitions in Europe. He is currently pursuing higher education and professional racing courses in London, United Kingdom.
