The Japan Football Association has announced the squad and jersey numbers for Nadeshiko Japan ahead of the 20th Asian Games. The team will compete in Group E against Thailand, Vietnam, and Chinese Taipei.

Due to an injury to forward Riho Yoshida, the previous season's WE League top scorer, the team has called up Aoi Tsujizawa from INAC Kobe Leonessa for her first international appearance.

Key jersey assignments include Yui Narumiya wearing number 10, Yuzuho Shiokoshi wearing 14, and Yoshino Nakajima wearing 22. Other new call-ups include Funa Yanase (6), Haane Nishio (21), and Nanase Ikuta (16).
