The Japan women's national football team, Nadeshiko Japan, has announced its squad for the October European tour. Midfielder Fuka Tsunoda, who plays for Crystal Palace in England, has received her first call-up to the national team.

Under manager Michihisa Kano, the team recently secured a 5-1 victory against Haiti. The squad is currently on tour in Europe, with a scheduled match against Germany.

The roster includes several players competing in major European leagues, such as Manchester City, Liverpool, and Juventus. However, the team has faced some personnel challenges due to injuries, with players including Mamiko Matsumoto, Riko Ueki, Minami Tanaka, and Toya Moriya unavailable for the current selection.
