Nadia Beller to testify in Argentine ANDIS corruption probe
Nadia Beller, a Bolivian lawyer and former partner of political consultant Fernando Cerimedo, is scheduled to testify as a witness before Argentine prosecutors on September 23. The testimony will be facilitated through Bolivian authorities in Santa Cruz as part of an international legal assistance request under Mercosur agreements.
Beller’s testimony is central to an investigation into alleged corruption within Argentina’s former National Disability Agency (ANDIS). The probe examines claims of fraudulent administration, bribery, and illicit association involving agency officials and medicine suppliers. Documents suggest ANDIS may have functioned as a hub for channeling improper payments to specific companies that shared profit distribution agreements.
Beller has indicated her willingness to cooperate and may provide recordings of conversations with Cerimedo regarding the alleged corruption. Cerimedo, who is currently detained in Bolivia on charges related to an attempted femicide against Beller, previously testified that former ANDIS director Diego Spagnuolo described a kickback scheme involving medicine purchases and claimed Spagnuolo had informed President Javier Milei of the situation.
