Comăneci expressed her enthusiasm for the role, stating she wants to be close to contestants who work hard for their dreams and experience the pressure of performing under the spotlight. While PRO TV has not officially confirmed whether she will replace an existing judge or occupy a new fifth seat, reports suggest she may succeed actress Carmen Tănase.

Some reports indicate the contract for the legendary gymnast could be valued at approximately 300,000 euros for the season. Casting for the upcoming season is currently underway.
