Nadine Sierra and Xabier Anduaga to perform in Santo Domingo gala

Soprano Nadine Sierra and tenor Xabier Anduaga are scheduled to perform at the Carlos Piantini Hall of the Teatro Nacional on August 21. The event, titled the “Margarita Copello de Rodríguez” Gala of Great Interpreters, is organized by the Fundación Sinfonía and the Fundación Amigos del Teatro Nacional.

The performance features the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional conducted by José Antonio Molina. The gala serves as a tribute to Margarita Copello de Rodríguez, a key figure in Dominican Republic classical music and co-founder of the Fundación Sinfonía.

This concert is a rescheduled event originally set for October 21, 2025, which was postponed due to adverse weather caused by tropical storm Melissa. Tickets purchased for the original date remain valid for the performance on August 21, 2026.
