Nadja Benaissa quits dating apps after brief stint following Let’s Dance appearance

German singer Nadja Benaissa said her participation in RTL’s dance competition Let’s Dance, where she finished seventh, made her reconsider her single status. In the podcast “Silvia am Sonntag” she explained that seeing couples on the show prompted her to try online dating. She signed up for several dating apps, receiving around 50 messages a day, but found the volume overwhelming. After six weeks she deleted all her accounts, describing the experience as “too exhausting” and stating she prefers meeting someone in person. Benaissa emphasized that while the show opened her up to the idea of dating, the app route was not suitable for her.
