NADMO honors late Samuel Aboagye one year after helicopter crash

The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) held a memorial service to honor the late Samuel Aboagye, the Deputy Director-General in charge of Protocol, marking one year since his death. Mr. Aboagye passed away following a helicopter crash on August 7, 2025.

The commemoration included a wreath-laying ceremony at his graveside, attended by NADMO management, staff, family, and friends. During the service, NADMO Director-General Major (Rtd) Dr. Joseph Bikanyi Kuyon reflected on the tragedy and the lasting impact of the loss on the organization and the nation.

Colleagues remembered Aboagye as a dedicated frontline officer who contributed significantly to national resilience and public safety, particularly during floods and emergencies. The service featured hymns, prayers, and tributes to his professional legacy and personal values.
