Nae Stanciu faces suspended prison sentence for Bucharest accident
Former Rapid Bucharest football player Nae Stanciu has reached a plea agreement regarding a traffic accident that occurred on January 21 in Bucharest. Stanciu admitted guilt after colliding with a parked vehicle while driving a Toyota.
Police reports from the incident indicated that Stanciu had a blood alcohol level of 1.04 mg/L and had become aggressive, leading to his arrest. Under the agreement registered at the Sector 2 Court in Bucharest, he faces 13 months of suspended imprisonment and 60 days of community service. The first court hearing is scheduled for October 6.
