Naeem Philbert elected Co-Chair of CDB Future Leaders Network

Naeem Philbert has been elected Co-Chair of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) Future Leaders Network (FLN), becoming the youngest person ever to hold the position. He is also the youngest member of the current cohort.

Philbert is the first Saint Lucian and the first national from an Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) member country to serve as Co-Chair. In this role, he will help guide the strategic direction of the network, facilitate member engagement, and act as a link between Caribbean youth and the CDB.

Philbert currently serves as the Deputy CARICOM Youth Ambassador for Saint Lucia. His previous experience includes serving as a Youth Parliamentarian and President of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College Students’ Council. He has stated that he views the role as a responsibility to ensure youth expertise is translated into meaningful action.
