Nafplio Fairy Tale Festival scheduled for September 2026

The 4th Nafplio Fairy Tale Festival is scheduled to take place from September 11 to September 13, 2026, at the Kastri camping site in Asini. Organized by the Nafplio Theater with support from the Municipality of Nafplio, the event features three days of storytelling accompanied by music, creative workshops, and free play for children during the mornings.

Evening storytelling sessions, open to all ages, will begin daily at 19:00. The festival includes a beach celebration on Saturday night and a culminating event on Sunday, titled ‘The Pleiades meet the Storytellers of Nafplio’. This final performance celebrates 20 years of tradition, featuring the Pleiades Vocal Ensemble performing polyphonic songs from Epirus, the Balkans, and the Mediterranean alongside storytellers.

Admission fees are set at 15 EUR for all festival activities, 5 EUR for a single day (Friday or Saturday), and 10 EUR for the specific Sunday event. Families with multiple children receive a discount where only one child is charged.
