Naga City begins turnover of employee housing at BellaVita Naga

The City Government of Naga has begun turning over affordable homes to qualified city employees through a partnership with Ayala Land’s socialized housing arm, BellaVita, and the Pag-IBIG Fund. The initial turnover included 110 beneficiaries at BellaVita Naga in Barangay Pacol.

The Naga City Employees’ Housing Project aims to provide housing access for public servants, particularly those in lower salary grades. Under the arrangement, employees acquire homes individually through Pag-IBIG housing loans. To increase affordability, qualified employees can access a subsidized interest rate of 3% per annum for the first five years via the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program.

While one phase of the program involves 576 housing units priced at ₱350,000 each, another component of the city’s broader housing initiative covers up to 1,011 units. Mayor Leni Robredo noted that the partnership has delivered rapid results, with over 100 housing loan accounts processed within two months of the agreement.
