Scheduled for August 27, the sports programme will take place at 20 venues across the state, with major events in Kohima at Don Bosco College and Kohima Science College. The initiative includes a virtual address from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and interactive sessions between youth volunteers, local leaders, and sportspersons.
In Kiphire, district-level competitions were held under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan 2026, a drug-free campaign organized by MY Bharat–Kiphire and Akehda Amulung. The event featured various creative contests, including short film making, painting, music, and debate, designed to encourage the youth to reject drug use.
