Nagaland hosts youth sports coaching and inter-school competitions

Various sporting events for youth have commenced in the Chümoukedima region of Nagaland. The Nagaland Kho Kho Association (NKKA) launched its 5th intensive coaching camp at St Anthony School Ground. The two-day program aims to promote physical activity, social skills, and discipline among young people, particularly as a countermeasure to increased digital dependence.

Additionally, the All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) Chümoukedima Unit, in partnership with the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, organized an inter-school meet at the 1st NAP Battalion Unit Ground. The event included U-20 boys’ football and U-16 girls’ volleyball competitions, involving students from 48 private schools across the unit to foster teamwork and healthy competition.
