Nagaland institutions strengthen regional ties through cultural and academic initiatives

Educational and cultural institutions in Nagaland and Assam are strengthening regional ties through new collaborative initiatives. FAC College in Mokokchung, Nagaland, and CKB Commerce College in Jorhat, Assam, recently held a cultural exchange program titled “Bridging Borders, Celebrating Heritage.” The program aimed to foster mutual understanding between students of the two neighboring states, with plans to expand into academic exchanges, joint research, and faculty seminars.

In Kohima, the Nagaland College of Music & Fine Arts (NCMFA) celebrated its convocation and the inauguration of a new college auditorium. The event was attended by Higher Education & Tourism Minister Temjen Imna Along, who served as the commencement speaker. During the ceremony, the college anthem was unveiled for the first time, and Bachelor of Music degrees were conferred upon graduating students.
