Nagaland officials inspect road construction projects

PWD (R&B) Minister G. Kaito Aye inspected ongoing road construction projects in the Mon district, including the Foothill Road at Tizit and the PMGSY-III road from Tizit to Oting. During the visit, the minister reviewed progress and quality, urging officials and contractors to ensure timely completion and maintain high standards to improve regional connectivity.

In a separate inspection, the Phokhungri Area Public Organisation (PAPO) and Bharat Construction Company Ltd. (BCC) officials reviewed the two-lane Akhegwo-Avakhung road construction. The joint inspection found the progress, workmanship, and adherence to safety measures to be satisfactory and in accordance with the Detailed Project Report specifications.
