Nagaland State and Para Games 2026 begins in Chümoukedima and Dimapur

The fourth edition of the Nagaland State and Para Games (NSPG) 2026 commenced on November 2, marking the largest sporting event in the state to date. Organized by the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA), the games feature approximately 2,953 athletes and 412 staff members representing all 17 districts of Nagaland.

The event is being held across eight venues in Chümoukedima and Dimapur over a 12-day period. Competitions are divided into two phases to manage logistics and accommodation. The first phase runs from November 2 to 8, while the second phase takes place from November 9 to 14.

Abu Metha, Chairman of IDAN and NOA General Secretary, noted that the total number of accredited participants, including officials and volunteers, exceeds 4,000. The Games Village, located at the Nagaland Police Complex in Chümoukedima, provides medical facilities, dining areas, and essential services to accommodate the large contingent.
