Nagaland University hosts Hindi Creative Writing Camp

A six-day Hindi Creative Writing Camp concluded at Nagaland University on September 5. The event was a joint initiative between the university’s Department of Hindi and the Central Hindi Directorate under the Ministry of Education.

The camp aimed to encourage creative expression and innovative writing in Hindi, specifically targeting participants from non-Hindi speaking regions. Attendees represented five states: Assam, Tripura, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland.

During the valedictory ceremony, officials including Prof N Venuh, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Kohima Campus, and Sarita Yadav, Secretary of the Department of Higher and Technical Education, addressed the importance of promoting the Hindi language and creative writing skills in diverse regions.
